MY EXPERIENCE
Higher and Further Education :
I was a Lecturer in English at the University of Orleans, France, and taught academic and business writing before coming to the UK.
I currently teach French at King's College London full time, and I am a regular speaker at the University of Oxford for French Intensive Weekends. Classes range from cultural, and business-related topics to societal issues.
Secondary Education :
I hold both CAPES and QTS (English), I taught English as a Foreign language in Orléans, France for a few years, before moving to the UK. I still teach English, privately, mostly as short bursts for tourists (as a second language) and for GCSEs (as a first language). I also taught French in Ireland for a little while, in a secondary school in Dublin.
Primary Education :
One of my fondest experiences was in a Montessori School in the USA where I taught French to kids aged 6-12.
I taught in a French Saturday School in London (FLAM) - the kids' energy was contagious!
